COUNTDOWN TO CENSUS

Message from the President of the Town Council

The 2010 census is easy, important, and safe.

When the questionnaire arrives,

fill it out accurately and return it immediately.

Residents should receive their census

questionnaire by the month of April.

It takes ten minutes every ten years to fill out your census form.

It should be based upon where you are at the day you receive it, regardless of where you live the other times of the year.

Don't be afraid to be counted, even if you are not a documented resident.  Census forms are completely confidential. Governments use census data to

allocate billions of dollars funding in funding for education, public safety, housing, roads and bridges, human services and community services.

Help us get the word out.  Can we count on you to be counted?

Sincerely,

Paul Steffens

ARE you LOST?
Some persons in our area are in danger of not being found quickly in an emergency situation. Does your phone bill match your actual address? This is how the EMS and Fire stations find you! Is your street address marked on your home visibly? You need to make sure your house numbers are visible on the front of your house, where your actual street address is located. Corner lots can cause confusion!
