Garbage Pick-Up Guidelines for Leo-Cedarville
Effective January 1, 2002
1. All households will be involved at a cost of $11.35 per month per tote.
Additional totes may be requested from National Serv-All at 747-4117.
2. Businesses must arrange for their private pick-up service.
3. Billing will be done by National Serv-All by the quarter.
4. Garbage pick-up is limited to one 90-gallon tote provided by National Serv-All.
More than one at an additional cost of $11.35 per tote.
5. There is not unlimited garbage pick-up.
6. Extra bags or stickers for additional garbage may be purchased at Leo
Builder's Supply on St. Rd. 1, Mill and Meadow on Amstutz Rd., or at the Town
Office on State Road One, for $1.00 each.
7. Garbage must be in a tote, purchased bag or have a sticker.
8. Garbage totes are to be placed curbside after 7 P.M. on Tuesday or before 6
A.M. Wednesday. Garbage must be out by 6 A.M.
9. Totes are to be removed from the curbside by 9 P.M. on Wednesday.
10. Totes are to be stored, throughout the week, out of sight of the street.
11. If Garbage pick-up day is a holiday the pick-up will be one day later.
12. Pick-up of large items will need to be arranged for with National Serv-All,
747-4117.
13. Opting out of the program is based solely on financial criteria, or if
National Serv-All deems the property unserviceable.
14. The Town and National Serv-All will work with residents with physical
conditions that require help in getting the tote to the curb.

Totes, that don't require the serviceperson to get out of the truck, account for
the lower rate per month. That is why it costs extra for more than the one
90-gallon tote limit. Also, the bid is based on the participation of all
residential properties. The Town, because of health issues, has the
constitutional right to impose this kind of service on town residents. The
Council also contracted for garbage pick-up for the saving it allows the
majority of its residents, the limited time garbage can be found curbside, and
to keep garbage trucks from using our streets four or five days a week. It is
hoped that the above guidelines will be helpful.
