A trail is now under construction along Hosler Road from State Road 1 to Halter Road, and from Halter to Hursh Road, where it will connect with a trail to be constructed down Hursh Road to a Metea Park entrance. This project will be done in sections and should be mostly complete by October, with a goal to finish the stretch by Leo schools before August when classes resume. There will be storm water lines added or repaired as part of this project. During the majority of the construction, Hosler Road will be one-lane, one-way from Amstutz to State Road 1. Downtown businesses, like the Frozen Spoon, will be open and we hope you will continue to support them during this construction.

The stretch of trail along Hursh Road to Metea North County Park is outside of the town limits. Has the right of way been secured for that? Is the funding being shared with Allen County? Will it be built on the north side of the road going through bare yards or the south side of the road necessitating the removal of hundreds of trees?
